A Goat in Sheep’s Clothing


Sheep on one side,
goats on the other,
separated by
the captain of our souls.

Good news for the suffering sheep,
salvation’s eternity awaits.

It’s tally time for justice; every sin
has it’s price, every deed will be scanned
and those left undone
will count for nothing.

While cheering for justice, I realize that
I’m as much a goat as I can be.

But Jesus died for the goats, too --
He came to save sinners.

We are goats in sheep’s clothing,
one hundred percent pure Lamb’s wool.

'Truly I tell you, just as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me." And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25: 46
